AI House: light harmonised with nature

Responding to the client’s vision for a minimalist, nature-aligned home, we partnered with Studio Otto in this private residential light design project to achieve seamless integration of light within the very fabric of the building.

The Guernsey plot, carefully chosen for its natural beauty, dictated a sensitive approach. Planning meticulously utilised site materials, respecting the surrounding topography. Concealed lighting became a core concept, woven into the building from inception.

This resulted in subtle illumination that resonated throughout the interior, avoiding “Bolt on afterthoughts” in lighting. The client’s discerning taste in decorative pendants complemented the clean modern aesthetic, enriching the carefully curated material palette.
