16 Redburn Street, Chelsea: The drama and charm of "Chiaroscuro"

In collaboration with Goldstein Ween Architects and Bluebird Building Co., this project transformed a residence for clients returning from 15 years in Hong Kong into a luxurious, boutique hotel-inspired oasis.

The meticulously designed spaces transport guests into a serene world detached from the hectic everyday, filled with exquisite artworks and sculptures, including a commissioned piece by Portuguese graffiti artist Vhils in the rear light well.

Indirect, concealed light sources seamlessly integrate within the building’s fabric, while strategically placed pinspots highlight key artworks, employing the contrast of dark and light – “Chiaroscuro” – to guide the eye through the spaces and focus on stunning vistas.
